Dakota Credit Union Association and America’s Credit Unions invite credit unions from all around the Dakotas to join credit union leaders from across the country at our industry’s largest gathering of the year!
 
The Governmental Affairs Conference  (GAC) will be held in Washington, D.C. March 2 – 6, 2025, attracting thousands of credit union professionals to our nation’s capital to rally around a united cause! As the premier event for credit union advocates, GAC empowers you to connect with industry leaders, influence policy, and drive positive change.
 
This is the perfect opportunity to highlight the meaningful work credit unions are doing to improve the financial well-being of members and communities. This year’s theme, Together We Move – Moving with purpose, Moving with passion, Moving with strength, reflects the unity and determination you’ll help shape as we work together to improve financial well-being across the nation.
 
In addition to focused advocacy efforts, GAC offers keynote speakers and many opportunities to network with industry experts. Explore the industry’s largest exhibit hall and discover the latest products and services.
 
Finally, at the heart of GAC are “Hike the Hill” visits, organized by DakCU. Conference attendees travel to Capitol Hill to advocate for the needs of their members to change the credit union regulatory environment for the better. To assist you, DakCU has prepared a “one stop” GAC shop on our website, which you can find here. This convenience allows you to register for the conference, make your hotel reservations, and even apply for a scholarship for financial assistance! 
 
ACCOMODATIONS FOR DAKCU MEMBERS
Courtyard by Marriott is conveniently located near the Convention Center and rooms are available for our Dakota GAC attendees.  The standard room rate is $327 for single or double occupancy. Be sure to reserve your room when you register; just look for the “ACCOMODATIONS” link, and use the password provided on our “One-Stop GAC shop.”  Be sure to pay attention to detailed instructions and cancellation policies.  All housing must be entered into the system by Friday, January 17, 2025.
