Your Leadership Link

Momentum is building across Dakota credit unions this spring, with new opportunities to connect, grow, and develop.
March is here, and with it comes a sense of momentum that’s hard to ignore. “March Madness” is in full swing, spring is right around the corner despite recent weather, and across the Dakotas, there’s a renewed energy that mirrors what we’re seeing within our credit union movement.

At your Dakota Credit Union Association, that same momentum is carrying us forward. The early part of the year has already demonstrated the strength of our network, bringing together leaders, board members, and industry partners to learn, share, and challenge one another to think differently. That collaboration is what continues to set our movement apart.

As we look ahead, we are moving full speed into a strong lineup of educational opportunities designed to meet you where you are, whether in the boardroom, in leadership, or across your teams. From timely discussions on the evolving regulatory and political landscape, to identifying tools to combat fraud and exploring practical applications of AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, our focus remains clear: delivering relevant, forward-looking content that helps you lead with confidence.

Our Annual Meeting & Summit this May will once again serve as a cornerstone event bringing together our collective voice, strengthening relationships, and reinforcing the shared purpose that defines Dakota credit unions. We have an outstanding lineup planned this year, along with a few new additions we’re excited to share. We also encourage you to help us invest in the future of our movement, as Summit Crasher applications close this Friday.

Later this year, the New Ideas Conference, September 23-24, will continue to push boundaries and spark innovation as we explore what’s next for our industry with more opportunities to follow.

But beyond the events themselves, the real value comes from your engagement. The strength of your Association is not just in the programming we provide, but in the participation, insight, and leadership each of you brings to the table.

As we head into this busy season, I encourage you to stay connected, stay involved, and take full advantage of the opportunities ahead. Together, we will continue to elevate our impact, strengthen our voice, and ensure that credit unions across the Dakotas remain well-positioned for the future.

Spring is coming and so is another strong year for Dakota credit unions.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day to ya!
