NCUA Finalizes Deregulation Proposal Concerning Vital Records Program
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) has published the final rule on the deregulation proposal concerning the vital records program. The initial proposal was published on April 24, 2026, and proposed a total of seven changes, including removing Appendices A and B, changing certain definitions, and adding a few clarifications to the broader points of the program as a whole.
