Town & Country Awards Scholarships

​This credit union has presented $10,000 in financial assistance awards to local students as an investment in future leaders. 

Town & Country Credit Union (Minot, ND) is proud to announce the winners of their 2024 scholarships. Ten students each received a $1,000 scholarship to help further their education this fall. This marks the third year of the credit union’s scholarship program.

To apply, high school seniors who are members of the credit union, were asked to submit an essay answering the question: How do you plan to make a positive impact in your desired career field?

"Each year, as we read through the essays, we're reminded of the incredible potential and ambition that thrives in our communities. It's a privilege to play a part in nurturing these bright futures,” said Town & Country Interim President/CEO Stefanie Rupert. “This scholarship is more than financial assistance; it's an investment in the leaders of tomorrow," she added.

Submissions were reviewed and scored by a panel of Town & Country Credit Union employees. Congratulations to the 2024 Town & Country Credit Union Scholarship Recipients:

• Emma Rensvold, Minot High School, Minot, ND. Attending the University of North Dakota this fall for Nursing.
• Jacob Kramer, South Prairie High School, Minot, ND. Attending Bismarck State College this fall for Farm & Ranch Management.
• Karmella Splichal, West Fargo High School, West Fargo, ND. Attending the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities this fall for Political Science & Business.
• Lee Haugen, Minot High School, Minot, ND. Attending the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities this fall for Human Physiology with minors in Public Health and French Studies.
• Madelynn Stark, West Fargo High School, West Fargo, ND. Attending the University of North Dakota this fall for Dentistry.
• Marc Steinberg, Liberty University Online Academy, Fargo, ND. Attending North Dakota State University for Mechanical Engineering.
• Melissa Dougan, Surrey High School, Surrey, ND. Attending the University of North Dakota this fall for Accounting.
• Shelsey Brandvold, Max Public School, Max, ND. Attending North Dakota State University this fall for Veterinary Medicine.
