Town & Country Credit Union has awarded its first Agri‑Education Grant, officially launching a new program designed to support agricultural members through continued learning and professional development. The grant program, which opened June 1, offers up to $5,000 in total funding in 2025 to help ag members attend conferences, classes, or educational events that enhance their operations or careers in agriculture. Fred Beuchler, EVP Chief Lending Officer, sees this initiative as a natural extension of the credit union’s mission. “We were founded on agriculture, we are committed to it, and this is just one more way we can support one another,” he said. “By helping our members grow their knowledge and bring that back to their farms and communities, we're investing in the future of ag.” Town & Country ag members are eligible to apply. Individuals can receive up to $1,000 in reimbursement for qualified education-related expenses, such as registration fees, classes, or event tickets. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and grants are awarded until the $5,000 in annual funding is fully distributed. The first grant recipient has already benefited from the program, demonstrating the positive impact this financial support can have on advancing agricultural education and strengthening our local farming community. To apply, members should visit the Grow Agri-Education Grants for Ag Borrowers page. Those with questions can reach out directly to their Town & Country ag lender or call 1-800-872-6358. Town & Country Credit Union has been Positively Impacting the communities they serve for 86 years. With 10 convenient locations in North Dakota, over 160 employees and a focus on continual growth, they provide meaningful value to their more than 26,000 members every day. Membership in the credit union is open to anyone living within 75 miles of Minot and 50 miles of Fargo or Kenmare. More information can be found at www.townandcountry.org. Comments are closed.
