Thursday morning, May 14, at this year's Dakota Credit Union Association’s Annual Summit, offers the perfect opportunity to connect, unwind, and experience the beauty of the Black Hills whether you’re hitting the course or heading underground for a one-of-a-kind adventure. However you like to connect and explore, Thursday at Summit offers two distinct ways to spend your morning:
1) Summit Golf Scramble Join us for the Summit Golf Scramble at Elks Golf Course from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This popular annual event is a great way to build connections, enjoy some friendly competition, and take in the scenic surroundings of the Black Hills. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just out for a fun round, the golf event offers a relaxed and enjoyable setting to spend the morning with colleagues, partners, and peers. Golf is available as an add-on during registration for $150 per golfer. 2) Not a Golfer? Skip the Clubs and Explore This year’s non-golfer experience takes you off the beaten path with a scenic start and an underground finish. Hop aboard our charter bus at 8:00 a.m. sharp and enjoy a drive-by of Mount Rushmore, one of America’s most iconic landmarks. From there, you’ll head to Rushmore Cave for a guided, one-hour exploration through stunning subterranean passageways, towering stalactite rooms, and awe-inspiring natural formations that have been millions of years in the making. With an expert guide leading the way, you’ll uncover the fascinating geology and history hidden beneath the surface, an experience that’s equal parts educational and unforgettable. The non-golfer experience is available as an add-on during registration for just $40 per person and offers a unique way to experience the region while connecting with fellow attendees. If you’ve already registered and would like to join the bus tour or golf, please contact Jessica Gabriel for availability. *Spots for the bus tour are limited, so be sure to register ASAP to secure your seat.* No matter which experience you choose, you’ll return in time to freshen up at The Box and enjoy lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the ballroom before heading into the afternoon breakout and keynote sessions. Whether you’re on the fairway or exploring the cave, Thursday at Summit is all about connection, memorable experiences, and making the most of your time in the Black Hills—plus, don’t miss exhibitor door prize and giveaway announcements at 1:00 p.m. (must be present to win!). And the fun doesn’t stop there! After the Awards Banquet that evening, stick around for Not Your Granny’s Bingo, a lively, can’t-miss way to wrap up the day with laughs, prizes, and a little friendly competition. This isn’t the quiet, sit-down bingo you might expect. Not Your Granny’s BINGO brings a lively, interactive atmosphere focused on energy, connection, and fun. With music, surprises, and a room full of Summit attendees ready to unwind, the night is set to deliver a whole new level of excitement. Expect a high-energy environment filled with entertainment, interactive moments, unexpected twists, fun prizes, friendly competition, and a relaxed, social setting that makes it easy to connect with peers.
