By Town and Country Credit Union
At Town & Country Credit Union, we believe in showing up when our community needs us most. That’s why we’re proud to donate $50,000 to the Minot Family YMCA to support recovery efforts following significant water damage to their facility earlier this year. The YMCA is a cornerstone of the Minot community, offering health, wellness, youth programming, and family resources that positively impact thousands of lives every year. Earlier this year, the YMCA experienced significant flooding caused by a burst pipe, which pushed mud, sediment, and water throughout their main floor. In response, the YMCA launched a $1.2 million capital campaign to fund necessary repairs and invest in upgrades to ensure the facility can continue serving the community for generations to come. Our donation is part of that effort to ensure the YMCA can continue being a vital resource for the Minot community. Town & Country’s connection to the YMCA runs deep. Stephanie Silverthorn, VP of Human Resources, and Fred Beuchler, EVP Chief Lending Officer, both serve on the YMCA’s Board of Directors, further strengthening our relationship and shared commitment to building a better community. "The YMCA provides more than just a gym. It's a safe, welcoming space where people of all ages grow stronger together," said Stephanie Silverthorn. "We're honored to support their mission and help them move forward after this unfortunate setback." We encourage others in the community to consider supporting the YMCA’s capital campaign. Every contribution helps keep their programs running and their doors open to all. Together, we can make a difference. Town & Country Credit Union has been Positively Impacting the communities they serve for 86 years. With 10 convenient locations in North Dakota, over 160 employees and a focus on continual growth, they provide meaningful value to their more than 26,000 members every day.
