Next time you are filling your tank at your favorite gas station, keep your eyes on the video display at the pump for our new Gas Station TV (GSTV) credit union awareness ads running now through August 18 as part of our ramped-up State Wide Awareness Program (SWAP). The new ads feature fresh (and funny) videos from Try a Credit Union. If you haven’t seen them, you can catch (and share) the short 15-second videos at the links below: GSTV Ad 1 GSTV Ad 2 GSTV Ad 3 GSTV Ad 4 In addition, there are some bright new billboards in targeted markets including Aberdeen, Bismarck, Huron, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Watertown, like the samples shown below! “I spy” – enter to win! If you happen to catch a GSTV ad, or pass one of our amazing billboards, snap a photo and share on Facebook or LinkedIn, tagging Dakota Credit Union Association. Alternately, you can simply email your pic to Shawn Brummer with permission to share directly on our DakCU social media platforms. Please tell us where (city) you saw the ad! The first ten responses will win an insulated cooler/grocery tote perfect for transporting your goods in the hot Dakota summer air! Contest ends August 30. We are very pleased and excited about our collective awareness campaign! In just one year, our credit union awareness initiative generated more than 18 million impressions between GSTV, geofencing ads, digital newspaper, and billboards. We cannot wait to see what happens in 2024-2025, but we expect even more visibility and connections while we continue to build trust and familiarity within our contributing SWAP communities as to what a credit union is, and what we can do for our members, both current and future.
