The Silent Auction is back at this year’s Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) Annual Summit, May 12–14, in Box Elder, SD, all in support of the Roger Heacock Scholarship Fund. The auction is a fun and meaningful way to support credit union advocacy and leadership development across the Dakotas, with proceeds helping fund scholarships for professionals to attend national advocacy events including the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C., and DakCU’s Hike the Hill.
Since 2008, the Roger Heacock Scholarship Fund has awarded 101 scholarships totaling $85,500, helping strengthen the future of the credit union movement through education, advocacy, and professional growth. This year’s auction will feature a variety of exciting items, including themed baskets, premium beverage machines, sports and recreation packages, tech items, vacation experiences, local favorites, and more. Bidding will take place through the GiveButter app, allowing participants to browse items, place bids in real time, and receive notifications if they’ve been outbid. Whether near or far, supporters can stay engaged throughout the auction. Bid here! The silent auction is officially open and closes Thursday, May 14 at 9:00 p.m. CST And remember, you do not need to be present to bid or win. If you are unable to attend Summit or leave before the auction closes, you simply need to arrange for someone to pick up your item on your behalf, or DakCU can assist with delivery arrangements (shipping fees may apply). Thank you for supporting the future of credit union advocacy across the Dakotas! Comments are closed.
