Summit Silent Auction

4/14/2026

Picture
Support credit union advocacy at Summit by participating in the silent auction benefiting the Roger Heacock Scholarship Fund.
The Silent Auction is back at this year’s Dakota Credit Union Association Annual Summit, May 12-14, all in support of the Roger Heacock Scholarship Fund!

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on credit union advocacy across the Dakotas. Funds raised help provide scholarships for professionals to attend the national Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C., as well as key advocacy events like our fall Hike the Hill.

Since 2008, the fund has awarded 101 scholarships totaling $85,500, empowering credit union professionals to grow, engage, and represent our movement at a national level.

Donate & Make an Impact
We’re now accepting items for this year’s auction and your credit union can play a key role in making it a success!

Popular donation ideas include:
  • Premium beverage machines (Bartesian, margarita makers)
  • Coffee & espresso machines (Nespresso, Keurig, L’OR)
  • Gourmet baskets (wine, whiskey, themed gift sets, grilling items)
  • Sports & recreation (golf gear, game tickets, tech items)
  • Luxury gifts (jewelry, handbags, high-end tech)
  • Vacation & experience packages (getaways, spa retreats, tours)

How to Donate
You can bring your item to Summit or mail it to the office. Please send the following details in advance to John Alexander or Kenley Lamberty so we can prepare your listing:
  • Item description
  • Estimated value
  • Donor name (as it should appear)
  • Any additional details

Join the Fun
The silent auction will open at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, and run through 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

Item Pickup
  • If attending Summit: please pick up your item(s) in person
  • If not attending: arrange for someone to pick up on your behalf, or we’ll assist with delivery (shipping fees may apply)

We’re looking forward to another successful fundraiser at the Annual Summit, May 12–14 in Box Elder, SD. Thank you for supporting the future of credit union advocacy! Contact John Alexander or Kenley Lamberty with any questions.
