Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) is once again offering an exciting opportunity for young professionals to attend the 2026 Annual Summit as a Summit Crasher! Geared toward professionals 35 and under, with flexibility for those who are newer to the industry, our Crasher program is designed to engage and elevate emerging leaders across the Dakotas. The Crasher program provides a powerful opportunity to grow professionally, build meaningful connections, and gain a deeper understanding of the credit union movement.
The 2026 DakCU Summit will be held May 12–14 at The Box in Box Elder, SD, and full Annual Summit registration will be opening soon. As we finalize the conference agenda and registration opens next week, Crashers will take part in a specialized track led by an experienced credit union industry leader, in addition to attending general Summit sessions featuring top speakers and timely industry insights. Beyond the sessions, Crashers gain valuable exposure to industry leaders, participate in facilitated discussions designed specifically for emerging professionals, strengthen leadership skills, and build relationships with peers from across North and South Dakota. As a Summit Crasher, you will receive complimentary Summit registration, thanks to the generous support of Millennium Corporate Credit Union. While registration fees are covered, Crashers and their credit unions are responsible for hotel and travel expenses. Apply to be a crasher here. Applications for the Crasher program are due by March 20, 2026. Selected participants will be announced in early April in the Memo. Applicants must not have previously participated as a Summit Crasher. Space is limited, and DakCU reserves the right to close applications early based on response volume. Please contact George McDonald if you have questions about our Crasher opportunity. Encourage your young professionals to apply and invest in the next step of their leadership journey.
