Summit Breakouts That Deliver

3/31/2026

Discover breakout sessions packed with practical insights and strategies you can immediately put into action.
This year’s Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) Annual Summit breakout lineup brings together industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators to deliver timely insights and practical strategies for today’s credit union environment. From compliance and fraud to leadership, technology, and member engagement, each session is designed to help you navigate change, strengthen your organization, and better serve your members.

With the early bird registration deadline just 10 days away, now is the time to secure your spot and take full advantage of everything Summit has to offer. In addition to an outstanding lineup of speakers, you’ll have the opportunity to lock in can’t-miss experiences like Summit golf or the non-golfer Rushmore Cave tour, Not Your Granny’s Bingo, and other memorable events, all while saving $50 on registration.

Navigating Risk, Regulation, and Security
Staying ahead in a complex regulatory and risk environment is more critical than ever. Crystal Streeper, ViClarity, will provide a comprehensive look at regulatory trends and compliance updates, helping credit unions stay informed and prepared. Nalani Brown, Rippleshot, will dive into emerging fraud threats, including tokenization fraud, account takeover, and phishing, while sharing strategies to better protect your institution and members. Jon Waldman, SBS CyberSecurity, will explore the rapidly evolving world of AI, offering practical guidance on security, privacy, and compliance considerations as credit unions evaluate tools like generative AI platforms.

Innovation, Payments, and the Future of Finance
As the financial landscape evolves, understanding emerging technologies is key. Clark Dumas, Visa, will break down stablecoins in a practical, easy-to-understand way, helping credit unions understand their role in bridging digital assets and traditional finance. Julie Nielsen will provide a forward-looking perspective on auto finance, highlighting key economic trends, lending strategies, and market dynamics shaping 2026.

Growth, Strategy, and Leadership in Action
High-performing credit unions are intentional about how they grow and lead. Jeff Rendel brings two powerful sessions to Summit. In Mind Share, Market Share, Wallet Share: Growth by Design, he explores how credit unions can strategically align brand, data, and experience to drive meaningful growth. In Leading at the Speed of Members, he focuses on the full member journey, showing how seamless, connected experiences can build loyalty and long-term relationships.

Member Experience and Organizational Success
Success starts from within and extends to every member interaction. Catie McDonald challenges attendees to rethink The New Rules of Member Engagement, encouraging a fresh perspective on how credit unions connect with members in a crowded, competitive environment. In Hire. Inspire. Retire., she takes a deeper look at talent development, demonstrating how recruitment, retention, and succession planning work together to build stronger, more resilient organizations.

Each breakout session is designed to deliver real-world value you can take back to your credit union. Whether you're focused on compliance, growth, technology, or team development, this year’s lineup ensures there is something for everyone.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of it!

Register now for the 2026 DakCU Annual Summit and secure your spot before the early bird deadline on April 10.
