The South Dakota Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) invites credit union professionals, advocates, and industry partners to the 2026 SD CU Advocacy Golf Classic – Par for the PAC on Tuesday, August 4, at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City, South Dakota.
This exclusive credit union golf outing provides a unique opportunity to connect with local legislators and public officials who help shape policies affecting credit unions and the members they serve. Best of all, proceeds from the event help fund scholarships for credit union professionals to attend key advocacy and government affairs events, strengthening the future of our movement. The day begins with registration at 9:00 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be provided by the event's lunch sponsor, and golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Individual golfer registration is $200 and includes two mulligans and an extend-a-putt for the team. Following golf, participants are invited to the Pints & Politics Social beginning at 2:00 p.m., followed by golf awards and legislator recognition at 2:30 p.m. This networking event offers valuable opportunities to engage with elected officials, discuss issues important to credit unions, and strengthen advocacy relationships in a relaxed setting. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, including hole sponsorships, beverage cart sponsorships, the Pints & Politics Social sponsorship, and hole-in-one sponsorships. Sponsors receive valuable visibility among credit union leaders, industry partners, and state policymakers. With a Dakota Credit Union Foundation Golf Scramble not taking place in 2026, the SD CU Advocacy Golf Classic will serve as the primary golf and networking opportunity for Dakota credit union professionals this summer. We encourage golfers and sponsors to register early and take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with peers, industry partners, and elected officials. The registration deadline is July 24, 2026, or until the event reaches capacity. Register here. For those traveling to Rapid City, a hotel room block is available at the DoubleTree by Hilton Rapid City Downtown Convention Center. The room block reservation deadline is July 8, 2026. For questions please reach out to Kenley Lamberty. Comments are closed.
