Some opportunities are worth making time for, not simply because of who is in the room, but because of the conversations that can happen when credit unions come together around the issues shaping our future.
 
On Tuesday, September 22, credit union leaders will have that opportunity as DakCU welcomes President & CEO of America’s Credit Unions Scott Simpson to Bismarck, ND for a special Leadership Exchange. We are asking credit unions to RSVP as soon as possible via email so we can finalize headcounts for the day, with the final registration deadline set to Friday, September 4.
 
This Leadership Exchange is more than a chance to hear from the leader of our national trade association. It is an opportunity for DakCU professionals to engage in direct conversations about the challenges, opportunities, and priorities you are facing. From advocacy and regulation to the issues affecting credit unions and your members every day, these conversations help ensure that the voice and perspective of DakCU remains part of the larger national discussion.
 
The morning and early afternoon sessions are designed for credit union CEOs, senior leadership, and North Dakota and South Dakota GAC Committee members. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with Scott and fellow credit union leaders, share perspectives, and discuss the issues that will shape the future.
 
The conversation continues in the afternoon, when the doors open to all credit union professionals.
 
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., DakCU will host a complimentary Advocacy Workshop designed for executives, board members, staff, and volunteers who want to better understand advocacy and the important role they can play in strengthening the voice of our movement. The day will conclude with a networking social and fireside chat featuring Scott Simpson and DakCU President & CEO Joe Keller, offering another opportunity to connect and discuss the future of advocacy and the credit union movement.
 
Whether you attend for the full day or join us for part of the program, the Leadership Exchange offers something valuable: a chance to step away from the day-to-day demands of your credit union, connect with others who understand the challenges you face, and take part in conversations that extend well beyond the walls of your own organization.
 
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required so we can plan accordingly for meals, seating, and other event details.

  • The morning and early afternoon Leadership Exchange sessions are intended only for credit union CEOs, senior leadership, and North Dakota and South Dakota GAC Committee members.
    
  • The remaining afternoon sessions, beginning at 3:00 p.m., are open to all credit union professionals, including executives, board members, staff, and volunteers.
• If you are already registered for the New Ideas Conference, you may also add the September 22 afternoon sessions directly to your New Ideas registration, or you can RSVP directly to George for any portion of September 22 you plan to attend.
