Hike the Hill Update! The DakCU Legislative and Regulatory Hike the Hill event is next week, September 8-11, with credit union professionals representing 17 different credit unions from across North and South Dakota traveling to Washington, D.C. Credit unions represented include: First Community CU, Capital CU, University FCU, Western Cooperative CU, Town & Country CU, Fargo VA FCU, North Star Community CU, Oahe FCU, East River FCU, Service First FCU, Levo, Northern Hills FCU, Black Hills FCU, Dakotaland FCU, Voyage FCU, Highmark FCU and Explorers FCU. This is our largest delegation to date for me. We expect roughly 22–25 attendees, depending on final arrivals. We have a lunch meeting confirmed with the NCUA Chairman. Please be prepared for a focused discussion on examinations, risk management, and operational impacts on small and mid-size credit unions.
