Sioux Falls, SD - Levo Credit Union has announced their 2022 Community Service Scholarship Award Winners: Alyvia Reese, Hannah David, Jacob Formiller, Kayleona Brandenburg and Morgan Blake. Levo awards five $1000 scholarships to eligible students who plan to attend, or are currently enrolled in, a post-high school educational institution and have demonstrated outstanding service to their community. All entries were judged on a set of criteria to include financial need, academic achievement, service to the community, the letter of recommendation and the literary quality of the essay. “Alyvia, Hannah, Jacob, Kayleona and Morgan all emulate dedication to their community, passion to their beliefs and causes, as well as dedication to their studies. There is no doubt in my mind that these five individuals will succeed in all of their future pursuits,” stated Fran Sommerfeld, CEO/President of Levo Credit Union. “We are excited to award our 2022 Community Service Scholarships to these five individuals. Good luck to you all.” Alyvia Reese will be attending South Dakota State University, Hannah Davis will be attending Minnesota State University of Mankato, Jacob Formiller will be attending the University of South Dakota, Kayleona will be attending Augustana University and Morgan Blake will be attending the University of Sioux Falls. Levo Credit Union was chartered in 1934 and currently serves anyone who lives or works in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook and Turner counties of South Dakota. The not-for-profit cooperative has over 30,000 members with six Sioux Falls locations.
