​Time Is Running Out to Register for Fall Hike the Hill
Registration remains open for this year's Fall Hike the Hill, held in conjunction with America's Credit Unions Congressional Caucus, September 13-16, but deadlines are approaching quickly.

This is one of the most impactful advocacy opportunities of the year, allowing credit union leaders to engage directly with members of Congress and discuss the issues that matter most to our industry and the members we serve.

Congress Returns to Washington
Congress is back in session and is focused on passing a continuing resolution (CR) this week to keep the federal government funded. Looking ahead, a vote on the CLARITY Act is expected to begin around September 15. We are continuing to review the latest legislative language and monitor developments as the bill moves through the process. At this time, progress remains slow, but we will keep members informed as additional details emerge.

DOJ Seeking Input on Elder Financial Fraud
The Department of Justice is conducting listening sessions focused on elder financial fraud and the important role financial institutions play in protecting older Americans.
