Primary Election Day: Make Your Voice Heard Today is Primary Election Day in South Dakota, and your Dakota Credit Union Association is encouraging all members to get out and vote. Participating in our elections is one of the most important ways to make your voice heard and shape the future of our state. Before heading to the polls, take a few minutes to review the candidates and issues on the ballot. Thoughtful participation helps ensure that South Dakota continues to be guided by practical, commonsense leadership that supports strong communities and a healthy financial system. Elections, especially primaries, play a critical role in determining who represents us. In many cases, the primary is where key decisions are made, making your vote even more impactful. We encourage you to find time in your day to cast your vote and be part of the process. Credit unions have always been rooted in community, and strong participation helps ensure our collective voice is heard.
