Good Morning!
I hope everyone is surviving the heat and getting ready for tomorrow’s SE 605 Annual Charity Golf Tournament! With over 90 golfers registered to attend, this year will be the second largest tournament in its history and it’s our 20th year! Quite impressive! Last year was our largest tournament ever, with 94 golfers participating. The SE605 is also excited to announce another milestone this year. Thanks to the ongoing support and generosity of our credit unions and vendor partners, the tournament has officially raised over $200,000 for various area charities since we teed off for the first time 20 years ago! A huge thank you to all those that continue to support the SE605 Golf Tournament and the many other fundraisers driven by our chapter leaders, as well as our Dakota Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors. Congratulations to the SE605 chapter and specifically Tim Ingalls, CU Mortgage Direct, and Joey Rotert, Black Hills FCU, for facilitating another amazing team effort to ensure tomorrow’s annual event continues to be an ongoing success. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you on the course! It's Time for a Breather It’s time to take a bit of a “breather” from politics this week. June has been a busy month. Look forward to things being a little quieter on the state level in July with primary elections and an impeachment behind us. Things will also be much quieter in Washington this week with the Senate out on recess and the House only focusing on committee work. I will be out enjoying some vacation next week and will be taking a break from this weekly article. How will you make it through the week without my political update? Only time will tell, but I think it’s safe to say we all need a breather from politics! Comments are closed.
