Pints & Politics is back in full swing for the 2024 election season! For those who may not know, Pints & Politics is our state-wide credit union legislative awareness program for credit union leaders, volunteer board members, and employees. These events are credit union specific – designed and presented by our Dakota Credit Union Association’s advocacy team. The program brings credit union professionals, state, and federal lawmakers, and legislative candidates together for an informal evening of credit union education and advocacy awareness. We are using a new system called Green Envelope to send invitations. Please make sure to check your email from Green Envelope for your invite! Lost your invitation? No worries! ALL credit union employees, volunteers, and board members are welcome to attend! All 2024 legislators and legislative candidates are invited to attend as well. We do ask you to kindly RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Last week, South Dakota kicked off our first Pints & Politics event in Webster, where credit union leaders from Area FCU, Norstar FCU, Healthcare Plus FCU, Coteau Valley FCU, and Dakota Credit Union Association had wonderful conversations about the credit union difference, our 2024 state and national legislative wins, and what legislation we are anticipating.  Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity for our credit union members to connect with legislators and legislator candidates. Thank you to the legislators and legislative candidates who attended!
