by John Alexander, Director of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs The LaMoure PAC Scramble: A Triumph on the Greens and Beyond In a swirl of excitement and camaraderie, the LaMoure PAC Scramble on Thursday, June 20th, unfolded with an incredible turnout, graced by five enthusiastic teams. Under the clear skies, golfers teed off, not just for the love of the game, but for a cause that resonates deeply with our community. The event was more than a competition—it was a celebration of unity and support, raising just over $500 on the day, pushing our total funds to nearly $5,200. These funds will be a crucial agenda item for our July 10th meeting, where we will deliberate on their best allocation to further our mission. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to our three stellar sponsors—Lamoure Credit Union, United Savings, and Western Cooperative Credit Union. Their unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in the success of this event. Their contributions are not just financial; they are a testament to their commitment to our shared goals. A hearty congratulations to Capital Credit Union for clinching the victory on the greens, with Brad Shetler undoubtedly playing a pivotal role in their triumph. First Community Credit Union showcased their remarkable skills, securing a close second place. Their impressive swings and strategic play were a highlight of the event, embodying the spirit of friendly competition and community engagement.
