Registration is closing fast for the 2026 DakCU Summit. If you’ve been thinking about attending, now is the time to secure your spot. The deadline is this Friday, May 1.
This year’s Summit brings together Dakota credit union professionals for a few days of connection, learning, and momentum-building in a setting that makes it easy to focus and recharge. Held at The Box in Box Elder, SD, May 12-14 the event offers a strong mix of meaningful content and time to connect with peers. The agenda is built to deliver value across roles and experience levels. Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup of speakers covering everything from credit union economics to marketing, engagement, and leadership. A dedicated pre-conference session for small credit unions returns this year, along with volunteer and board training opportunities and the Annual Business Meeting. Beyond the sessions, Summit is about strengthening relationships and celebrating the movement. The awards banquet will highlight the achievements of Dakota credit unions, followed by a fun evening and “Not Your Granny’s Bingo” on Thursday night. The Exhibitor Showcase & Social offers another opportunity to explore new solutions and connect with partners, with built-in time throughout the event to step away, check in with your team, and recharge.. The Summit also offers a meaningful way to give back through the always-popular silent auction. From unique experiences and high-end tech to themed baskets and local favorites, the auction brings a fun and competitive energy while supporting the Roger Heacock Scholarship. Proceeds help provide opportunities for Dakota credit union professionals to attend national advocacy events. We’re still accepting auction items, so if you have something you’d like to contribute, please let us know soon so listings can be prepared in advance. Every donation plays a role in making this fundraiser a success. Contact Kenley Lamberty for more information or questions. If you’re looking to gain fresh perspective, strengthen your network, and return with ideas you can put into action, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Register now before the May 1 deadline. Rooms start at $169 per night. Reserve your stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Rapid City here. If the Courtyard is fully booked, additional accommodations are available at the nearby Residence Inn starting at $149 per night, accessible through the same booking link. Comments are closed.
