by Chesney Garnos, Director of Political & Grassroots Affairs Join the South Dakota GAC for our first ever advocacy golf event, Par for the PAC! This event will be held on Thursday, July 18, at Lead Country Club beginning at 12:00 p.m. (MT). There are MINIMAL spots and sponsorship opportunities left, which is no surprise because this “hidden gem” golf course has plenty of challenges for the good golfer, while being wide-open enough for the novice. Wildlife abounds, with a beautiful clear pond to enjoy along your way at hole #7. Plus, the South Dakota GAC team will be hosting a 50-50 raffle, in addition to sponsoring a hole-in-one opportunity for a chance to win a grand prize of $10,000! Each golfer also receives lunch and a drink ticket included with their registration! In addition to wonderful opportunities on the golf course, the evening will be full of advocacy activities, with a social and awards ceremony, and a special guest appearance by Jody Gillaspie, Director of the Division of Consumer Protection with the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office. During the social, you will have opportunities to visit with key legislators and government leaders from across the state of South Dakota who support financial well-being in our communities. The full schedule for July 18:
