Building a strong cybersecurity culture can be challenging. Common obstacles include resistance to change, reluctance to adopt security practices, and securing overall buy-in and engagement in awareness activities. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, so it’s a good time to walk through a cybersecurity culture checklist to help you measure and improve your organization’s cybersecurity culture.

Those who attended this year’s New Ideas Conference had the opportunity to hear from Nick Podhradsky, Executive VP, SBS CyberSecurity, a new DakCU CAP partner. “With continued focus on providing needed services for our member credit unions, and with the emphasis for all credit unions to pay attention to their cyber security protocols and policies, we looked for a great partner to assist with services and education in the cyber security arena,” stated George McDonald, DakCU’s Chief Officer of Strategic Services. “We are extremely pleased to add SBS CyberSecurity to our partnerships, and as an added bonus, they are headquartered right here in the Dakotas,” he added.  

The world of technology is very different today than it was just five years ago, and we need to be prepared for what is coming.
