Registration is open for the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). The annual conference will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., and online, March 1-5, 2026.
America's Credit Unions GAC conference is the credit union industry's largest advocacy event bringing together thousands of leaders to rally around a united cause: to advocate for policies to better serve members and tailor services to meet the needs of their local communities. The conference will feature a wide range of “can’t-miss” speakers, informational breakout sessions, and networking opportunities designed to help credit unions advance their communities and improve financial well-being for all. To make your GAC experience as worry-free as possible, we have a “one stop GAC shop” ready to go. Click here for registration link, accommodations, scholarship information, and more. This scholarship provides financial assistance to DakCU member credit union professionals who wish to attend the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) or the DakCU Legislative/Regulatory “Hike the Hill” (HTH). The amount awarded varies each year based on the number of qualified applicants and available funds. For 2026, scholarships for GAC attendance will provide a stipend ranging from $2,500 to $3,500 per recipient, up to—but not exceeding—the full cost of attending the conference. Applications are due by Friday, December 5, 2025. If you have any questions, please contact John Alexander or Kenley Lamberty. Comments are closed.
