This month, Prairie Business magazine released their “2024 Best Places to Work” list after receiving more than 1,700 nominations from across the region. Among those that made the “50 Best” list: First Community Credit Union (FCCU) of Jamestown, North Dakota.
Employees from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota nominated their companies, highlighting the reasons they believe make their place of business a great place to work. Criteria considered included workplace culture, opportunities for employee growth, teamwork and individual responsibility, and employee morale, among others. "This recognition is an honor for all of us at FCCU and we wouldn't be where we are without our talented and hardworking staff,” says Steve Schmitz, FCCU President/CEO. “Thank you to our 260 employees that belong to our FCCU family and make this company a truly wonderful place to work. We sincerely appreciate your hard work to support our members and dedication to each of our communities,” he added. During its 85-year history, FCCU has grown to be North Dakotas largest credit union with 26 branches in North Dakota and Minnesota. FCCU offers a full suite of financial services, including business, consumer, agricultural and mortgage loans, along with checking, savings, and more. From its humble beginnings with just 40 members, to more than 46,000 members today, FCCU prides itself on giving back to its employees, members, and communities they serve. Winners are all featured in the September issue of Prairie Business, which you can see here. Comments are closed.
