Build your own Summit experience with dynamic breakout sessions focused on the issues that matter most right now.
The Dakota Credit Union Association’s Annual Summit is designed to deliver a strong balance of education, connection, and flexibility giving you the opportunity to make the most of your time.

For those arriving early, registration opens Tuesday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m., followed by pre-conference sessions, including the Small Credit Union Forum, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

We’ll kick things off bright and early Wednesday, May 13, as Taylor Murray will lead our first general keynote session, Credit Union PhD, followed by an NCUA update from Western Region Director Julie Cayse.

After a networking break, attendees can choose from three breakout sessions:
  • Regulatory Trends & Insights: Compliance Updates with Crystal Streeper, ViClarity
  • Understanding Stablecoins – The Bridge Between Digital Assets and Traditional Finance with Clark Dumas, Visa
  • Mind Share, Market Share, Wallet Share: Growth by Design with Jeff Rendel, Rising Above Enterprises

The momentum continues into the afternoon with another round of relevant topics, including:
  • Fraud
  • The New Rules of Member Engagement with Catie McDonald
  • Leading at the Speed of Members with Jeff Rendel, Rising Above Enterprises

We’ll wrap up the day with an advocacy update and a highly anticipated economic update from TruStage Chief Economist Steve Rick, followed by the popular Exhibitor Showcase & Social.

Thursday, May 14 begins with our Summit golf outing at Elks Golf Course, along with a special option for non-golfers to be announced soon. After lunch, attendees can once again tailor their experience with forward-looking breakout sessions:
  • AI Security and Privacy for Credit Unions with Jon Waldman, SBS CyberSecurity
  • Driving Forward: Trends in Auto Finance with Julie Nielsen, CRIF Select
  • Hire. Inspire. Retire. with Catie McDonald

The afternoon concludes with Todd Cetnar on Mental Performance: 3 Pillars of Elite Results, followed by our Annual Business Meeting and the Annual Awards Banquet.

While we cover a lot of ground, DakCU's Summit is intentionally designed to create a balanced experience offering meaningful education, valuable connections, and time to take it all in. Set against a beautiful location, in Box Elder, South Dakota, it’s an experience built to leave you inspired, energized, and ready for what’s ahead.

We’re also excited to once again welcome our Summit Crashers, a group of emerging credit union professionals who bring fresh perspective and energy to the event. Their participation is an investment in the future of our movement. Applications are open through this Friday, so now is the time to encourage your team to apply.
