Deanna Decker, longtime staff member of M-O Federal Credit Union is retiring after 31 years of service to the credit union industry. Deanna began working at the credit union in 1993, beginning as a teller, and working her way up to loan officer. Through the years, Deanna has watched the credit union grow, working through multiple expansions and, remodeling. In 1996, her design was chosen for the new credit union logo, which is still being used today! Her long career with the credit union allowed her to earn an income, but also provided a creative outlet and a way for her to express her core beliefs about helping other people. “Our members make coming to work a joy,” she stated in a 2019 Spotlight interview. “We have an appreciation for each other, and helping members who are going through difficult times and being able to assist them is very satisfying.” Deanna also has a long history of volunteerism, teaching Junior Achievement, serving on the Central Chapter Board, teaching Sunday school, and more. On Thursday, June 27, M-O Federal Credit Union will be honoring Deanna and her 31 years of dedicated service with an open house from 2 – 4 p.m. at 1730 Dakota Ave. S in Huron. Everyone is invited to join them for cake and refreshments. Comments are closed.
