DakCU Awards
Each year, Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) recognizes outstanding leadership and engagement within our Dakota credit union community by presenting prestigious honors at the Awards Banquet during the Annual DakCU Summit. Credit unions may be recognized for outstanding work in areas of marketing and social impact. Individuals are eligible for categories including Professional of the Year, Emerging Leader, Volunteer of the Year, and our highest achievement, the Hall of Fame Award Distinguished Service Award. Deadline for nominations is this week: January 10, 2025.

Diamond Awards
The most prestigious annual credit union marketing competition, the Diamond Awards, are still open! America’s Credit Unions is proud to offer these annual industry awards, which recognize and reward creative excellence and outstanding results. Floyd Rummel Retiring!
Northern Hills Federal Credit Union is extending an open invitation to join them in a celebration of the long and successful career of Floyd Rummel III. The credit union will host an open house and cocktail party on Friday, January 10, from 4 – 7 p.m. at The Lodge at Deadwood, located at 100 Pine Crest Lane in Deadwood, SD.
 
One Stop GAC Shop.
The Governmental Affairs Conference  (GAC) will be held in Washington, D.C. March 2 – 6, 2025. For those interested in attending, DakCU has prepared a “one stop” GAC shop on our website, which you can find here. This convenience allows you to register for the conference, make your hotel reservations, and apply for a scholarship for financial assistance.
