Voyage names new branch manager; fraud alert in Fargo; CEO opportunities in North and South Dakota; and multiple free webinars.
DakCU Offices Closed Monday
Dakota Credit Union Association offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, in observation of Columbus Day and Native American Day. Columbus Day is a national holiday which officially celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in and the discovery of the American Continent on October 12, 1492. Not all states or regions follow this observance, and instead, they celebrate other events on the day. South Dakota's official holiday on this date is Native American Day, which celebrates the cultures and contributions of the many Native American tribes.

Fraud Trend in Fargo ND
The City of Fargo Police Department is warning of a trend that involves a group damaging an ATM, then waiting for the financial institution to call technicians to repair the ATM, and then robbing or stealing from the ATM when it is being worked on or fixed. If you notice any damage to an ATM, it may be best to have some sort of security/armored car assist with any technicians as they fix them for the time being. Please feel free to forward any suspicious activity to the FPD Intel Unit at [email protected].
