Forbes Names Capital Credit Union Best Credit Union in North Dakota
For the third year in a row, Capital Credit Union has been named North Dakota’s best credit union in a nationwide survey conducted by Forbes and market research firm Statista. Forbes and Statista identified America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2021 based on an independent survey of approximately 25,000 US consumers who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed credit unions in the following areas: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice.

Make an Impact - Join the Social Media Blitz!
Credit Unions across the country are going to unite to make a splash on July 30 with an “I Love My Credit Union” social media blitz! This is the brainchild of our friends at the Illinois Credit Union League, who wanted to do something to inspire nationwide involvement of leagues, credit unions, and members, and connect those conversations with a common hashtag. (Shhhh – we are not supposed to use the hashtag until July 30!) This is simple to do! Everything you need to participate is just a few clicks away on the resource hub. Here, you can sign up to participate and access everything you’ll need to plan and engage members in this exciting, nationwide collaboration. You’re welcome to personalize the materials with your own branding, design your own content, and add those unique touches that will speak to your membership.

Mark Your Calendars for October 21
International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) is Thursday, October 21. Each year, we come together to celebrate ICU Day to raise awareness about what it means for members around the world to have a credit union as their financial partner. This year's ICU Day theme, “Building financial health for a brighter tomorrow,” reflects the way credit unions contribute to a brighter future by working to improve members' financial well-being. It is at the heart of the mission and structure of credit unions. International Credit Union Day is brought to you by Credit Union National Association and World Council of Credit Unions. Click here to be notified as soon as more ICU Day information and collateral is available.
