Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) is pleased to announce that the newest member of our team, Lindsey Hefta, joins the association this week as Director of Marketing. In her new role, Lindsey will primarily be responsible for performing both external and internal marketing strategies for DakCU. She will develop and implement promotional and membership strategies, as well as collateral resources for DakCU events, educational conferences and seminars, and social and political functions. She will also assist with the creative development and implementation of all visual and video assets, including creative design and support for DakCU’s digital assets, the website, and social media platforms. “I’m very pleased and excited to welcome Lindsey Hefta to the association team as our new Director of Marketing,” said Jeff Olson, President/CEO of DakCU. “Lindsey is bringing several years of financial service marketing experience and creative proficiency to our organization. Having worked for a regional bank, her proven skills in promoting awareness and her hands-on knowledge in media placement and marketing messaging will be an asset to both our affiliated members and our association as we strategically navigate forward. More importantly, her energy and enthusiasm will help us better serve our member credit unions,” he added. Prior to joining DakCU, Lindsey worked as the marketing director for a regional community bank in Bismarck, ND where she helped to build and maintain brand success across multiple marketing channels. She received her Associate Degrees in Arts, Science, and Graphic Design & Communications from Bismarck State College. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Mary, Bismarck, graduating Cum Laude. Her graphic design has been recognized with an ADDY Award and she recently received the 2021 AMA 4 Under 40 Emerging Marketing Leaders Award, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of marketing and its sub-fields with demonstrated leadership and continuing service. Originally from Stanton, ND, Lindsey and her husband, Andrew, have resided in Bismarck for over a decade.
