The Credit Unions United Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Thursday, May 8 at Town and Country Credit Union in the training room. Meet at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30. Credit Unions for Kids Micropreemie Unit Celebrates Grand Opening On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the Credit Unions for Kids Micropreemie Unit at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo will celebrate its official ribbon cutting and grand opening. The morning event will begin with a Breakfast social from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., followed by a program and ceremony from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. This state-of-the-art unit is dedicated to providing life-saving care to the hospital’s tiniest and most fragile patients—micropreemies. The new facility is a testament to the generosity and commitment of the Credit Unions for Kids initiative, a collaborative effort among credit unions to support children's hospitals and ensure the best possible care for young patients and their families. Operation Hope & Caring Raises Almost $19,000 for Kids in Need Operation Hope and Caring, a community fundraiser led by Levo Credit Union, Air Madness, and KELO-TV, raised $18,861.21 this year to support students in Sioux Falls who struggle to afford essentials like school lunches, winter gear, and hygiene items. Despite not hosting the usual Sioux Falls Storm game, the initiative still achieved its second-highest fundraising total. Since 2017, it has provided nearly $127,800 in aid. The Southeast 605 Chapter of Credit Unions is excited to host its 23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls. Golfers, sponsors, and supporters are invited to join a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and community spirit. The event kicks off with registration at 10:00 AM, followed by a chapter meeting at 10:30 AM, and a shotgun start at 11:00 AM.
