Credit Unions for Kids Micropreemie Unit Celebrates Grand Opening
On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the Credit Unions for Kids Micropreemie Unit at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo will celebrate its official ribbon cutting and grand opening. The morning event will begin with a Breakfast social from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., followed by a program and ceremony from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

This state-of-the-art unit is dedicated to providing life-saving care to the hospital’s tiniest and most fragile patients—micropreemies. The event will be held at Sanford Children’s Hospital, located at 5225 23rd Ave S in Fargo. RSVP here by May 1. For more information, please email Annie Elhard.

Operation Hope & Caring Raises Almost $19,000 for Kids in Need
Operation Hope and Caring, a community fundraiser led by Levo Credit Union, Air Madness, and KELO-TV, raised $18,861.21 this year to support students in Sioux Falls who struggle to afford essentials like school lunches, winter gear, and hygiene items. Despite not hosting the usual Sioux Falls Storm game, the initiative still achieved its second-highest fundraising total. Since 2017, it has provided nearly $127,800 in aid. The funds are used by Title I schools for critical needs, and this year, Levo also collected and donated winter clothing for distribution. Visit hopeandcaring.org to learn more or contribute.
