Holiday Schedule
DakCU offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. This year’s celebration carries special significance as our nation continues commemorating the United States Semiquincentennial - the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Commonly known as the Fourth of July, the holiday honors the birth of our nation and the enduring ideals of freedom, democracy, and self-governance.

Save the date for #ILoveMyCreditUnion Day on Friday, July 31, 2026! This annual social media blitz brings the credit union movement together for one day of high-energy, authentic conversation celebrating the credit union difference and the positive impact credit unions make in the lives of members and communities every day. Credit unions, employees, volunteers, and members are encouraged to share stories, photos, and messages across social media using the hashtag #ILoveMyCreditUnion. Registration Open: SD CU Advocacy Golf Classic
Registration is now open for the SD CU Advocacy Golf Classic on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Meadowbrook Golf Course. Join fellow credit union advocates for a day of golf, networking, and advocacy while supporting scholarships for credit union professionals to attend advocacy and government-focused events.

DakCU Hiring Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator
The Dakota Credit Union Association is seeking a passionate, relationship-driven professional to join our team as Member Engagement and Communications Coordinator. The preferred location for this position is our Bismarck headquarters, with Sioux Falls serving as a secondary location option. Fergus Federal Credit Union Seeking President/CEO
Fergus Federal Credit Union in Lewistown, MT is searching for its next President/CEO to lead the $120M credit union located in central Montana. This person will provide strategic leadership to ensure sustainable growth and financial stability across the 13 counties the credit union serves. The position represents the credit union in rural and small-town communities and will collaborate with the Board of Directors to implement policies, long-term strategies, and financial performance goals for asset growth and lending programs. In addition to building strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders, the President/CEO carries the responsibility to lead and inspire staff, develop and execute strategies, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
