As the May 15 deadline approaches, the Dakota Credit Union Foundation’s 2026 Calendar Raffle is gaining momentum across the Dakotas.
Now through May 15, credit union members, staff, and supporters still have time to participate in this year’s raffle, which offers a simple and engaging way to give back while also having the chance to win. Each ticket purchased is entered into daily cash prize drawings throughout the month of June, with prizes of up to $500 awarded to lucky winners. More than just a fundraiser, the calendar raffle plays a vital role in advancing the Foundation’s mission of promoting financial well-being for all. Proceeds directly support scholarships for credit union professionals, helping to grow and strengthen the movement through continued education and leadership development. In addition, funds help expand financial literacy initiatives and programs that empower individuals and families across North and South Dakota to build stronger financial futures. As the Foundation evolves its fundraising approach, the calendar raffle provides an opportunity for broader participation across the region. Credit unions are encouraged to promote ticket sales within their communities and among their membership, helping extend the reach and impact of the Foundation’s work. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the 2026 DakCU Annual Summit, offering another opportunity for attendees to get involved, show their support, and join in the excitement. Credit unions are also encouraged to bring both sold and unsold raffle tickets to Summit in Box Elder next week, making it easy to turn in entries and keep the momentum going. We encourage all credit unions to continue spreading the word and supporting this important initiative. With the May 15 deadline quickly approaching, now is the time to act. Every ticket sold contributes to meaningful programs that strengthen credit unions, support professionals, and enhance the financial well-being of communities across the Dakotas.
