Aspire Credit Union Celebrates Retirement of Diane Smith
Aspire Credit Union is celebrating the remarkable career and upcoming retirement of Diane Smith, who has dedicated more than 30 years of service to the organization and its members.
 
Since joining Aspire in 1994, Diane has played a vital role in shaping the member experience. As Member Service Representative Manager, she led the teller team with a people-first approach, becoming a familiar and trusted presence for generations of members. Throughout her tenure, Diane helped guide Aspire through significant growth and change, including rebrands and technology advancements, while remaining deeply committed to the credit union’s mission and community.
 
“Diane has truly embodied what it means to Aspire to More,” said Kevin Vigested, CEO/President of Aspire Credit Union. “Her leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on our members, staff, and community.”
​
Aspire Credit Union will host a Retirement Open House on March 20 from 3–5 p.m. at its Minot location. Members and community partners are invited to attend and celebrate Diane’s incredible career.

​Sentinel Federal Credit Union Names Michael Goldy as CFO
Goldy brings more than 30 years of experience with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), where he served as a Principal Examiner and Subject Matter Examiner specializing in asset liability management, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk.

​Throughout his career, he worked closely with credit unions across the Dakotas and nationwide to support safe, sound operations and regulatory compliance, and assisted in chartering new credit unions.
 
“Michael’s depth of experience in financial oversight and risk management is an incredible asset for Sentinel,” said CEO Dorothy Voorhees. “His insight will help strengthen our financial strategy and long-term commitment to our members.”

​Magnifi Financial Opens New West Fargo Branch
Magnifi Financial Credit Union has announced the grand opening of its new full-service branch in West Fargo, located on Sheyenne Street near Hornbacher’s. This marks Magnifi’s third location in the Fargo–Moorhead area.
​
The new branch offers a full range of services, including deposit accounts, loans, and wealth management, reflecting Magnifi’s continued commitment to serving communities across the Midwest.
 
Founded in 1939, Magnifi has grown to $2.6 billion in assets and is now Minnesota’s fourth-largest credit union. The organization has earned national recognition for its strong performance and growth, including being ranked among the top 1% of credit unions nationwide and named a top credit union by Forbes.
