Scholarship recipients included Jaxon ($750) and Kathleen ($500) from Sturgis Brown High School, as well as Dagen ($1,000), Brenna ($500), and Shyann ($500) from Spearfish High School. Northern Hills FCU is proud to support local students as they pursue higher education and invest in the future of the communities it serves. Congratulations to all of this year's scholarship recipients, and best wishes for continued success in the years ahead. Levo Credit Union Helps Raise More Than $34,500 for Sioux Falls Students Levo Credit Union, in partnership with Air Madness, KELOLAND TV, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines), recently presented a $34,502.50 donation to the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation through Operation Hope and Caring. The contribution will help support students attending Title I schools by providing essential items and resources that help remove barriers to learning. Operation Hope and Caring funds projects and programs that assist students and families with needs such as winter clothing, shoes, school supplies, field trip expenses, playground equipment, and access to clean clothing. Since its launch in 2017, the initiative has provided more than $162,500 in support to Sioux Falls Public Schools. Levo was able to maximize its impact through a matching grant from FHLB Des Moines' Member Impact Fund, which helps financial institutions support affordable housing and community development efforts in the communities they serve. In addition, Levo, Air Madness, and KELOLAND hosted a community fundraiser earlier this year to further support the cause. The donation reflects Levo Credit Union's ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting local communities. Over the past five years, Levo has donated nearly $360,000 to charitable causes throughout the region.
