Now in its 13th year, CU Lunch Local is continuing its mission of asking for industry-wide support for local businesses by asking credit unions, CUSOs, leagues, regulators, and credit union partners to shop and spend dollars locally!
We invite you to “lunch local” on October 15th (or any day that works for you) to show your support. Participants are asked to share photos and stories on social media with the hashtag #CULunchLocal. What better way to show our support for our local community than to buy local? Every dollar spent makes a difference when it goes to a local business, whether you buy a morning cup of coffee, order lunch, or organize a group of people to support local businesses in any way. Participation is easy! Buy lunch for your team, or even just treats for the day or a morning cup of coffee at a local business! Then, be sure to share on all your social media channels. To sign up for the event (for participation tracking) visit https://www.mbcloans.biz/culunchlocal/. You can also share your local business stories by posting your pictures directly to the CU Lunch Local Facebook page with #culunclocal. About CU Lunch Local CU Lunch Local continues to grow! The event is coordinated by Jessica Richardson-Isenegger, who helped establish and coordinate the annual event on behalf of Michigan Business Connection (MBC) www.mbcloans.biz. CU Lunch Local is hoping to sign up even more state leagues and credit unions this year. Visit www.facebook.com/culunchlocal to join in on the fun this October! Comments are closed.
