Why This Matters At a cost of just 11 cents per credit union member, the project is a cost-effective, long-term investment in advocacy. Modernization is also significantly more economical than a full rebuild, which would total $32 million. By upgrading the existing facility, credit unions avoid the high costs of renting alternative event spaces, while creating a welcoming environment that accommodates larger, more diverse groups.
