Chapter of the Year Award

The Red River Chapter of Credit Unions is recognized for their strong commitment to the “people helping people” philosophy. 

​The Red River Chapter of Credit Unions, Fargo, ND region received the Chapter of the Year Award at the Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) awards banquet that was recently held at the Delta Hotel in Fargo, ND. 
 
The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes one credit union chapter in North or South Dakota for its outstanding achievements in advocacy, communication, education, and community involvement.
 
This year, our winner was selected because of their strong commitment to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” This is demonstrated by the chapter’s outstanding service to their rural communities, including seven community service events, over 100 volunteer hours, and partnering with local nonprofits and organizing charitable events.
 
The Red River Chapter of Credit Unions includes City and County Employees’ FCU; Fargo Public Schools FCU; Fargo VA FCU; Postal Family FCU; United Savings Credit Union. The Fargo branches of Capital Credit Union, First Community Credit Union, and Town & Country Credit Union are also associate chapter members.
