Chapter of the Year Award

The Credit Unions United Chapter is recognized for their strong commitment to the “people helping people” philosophy. 

The Credit Unions United Chapter, Minot, ND received the Chapter of the Year Award at the Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) awards banquet that was recently held at The Box, Box Elder, SD.
 
The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes one credit union chapter in North or South Dakota for its outstanding achievements in advocacy, communication, education, and community involvement.

​This year our winner was selected because of their outstanding commitment to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” through education, advocacy, collaboration, and community service. Comprised of five-member credit unions, the chapter demonstrated meaningful impact by hosting educational and networking opportunities, promoting credit union advocacy initiatives, and supporting local organizations through volunteerism and outreach. Their efforts included multiple community service projects, more than 80 volunteer hours, partnerships with local nonprofits, and initiatives that strengthened awareness of the credit union difference throughout their communities.
 
The Credit Unions United Chapter includes Affinity First Credit Union, Aspire Credit Union, Minot Area Schools Federal Credit Union, North Star Community Credit Union and Town & Country Credit Union.
