Celebrating Annie's Next Chapter

After not quite two years of dedicated service to the Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) and Dakota Credit Union Foundation, Annie Elhard will be transitioning from her full-time role with DakCU to focus more of her time on her family's farm and part-time work with her local credit union.

While this marks the end of Annie's full-time chapter with DakCU, it is not quite goodbye. Annie has graciously agreed to remain involved in a very limited capacity over the next several months to assist exclusively with Foundation-related matters during this transition period.

Those who have had the opportunity to work with Annie know firsthand the passion, positivity, and hard work she has brought to the association. During her time with DakCU, she has worn many hats and supported the organization through numerous changes and transitions. From communications and member engagement efforts to Foundation initiatives and countless behind-the-scenes projects, Annie has consistently gone above and beyond in service to Dakota credit unions.

"Annie has been a constant source of support, creativity, and positivity during her time at DakCU. Through many changes and evolving responsibilities, she always stepped up with a willingness to help and a genuine care for the people we serve. While I will miss working alongside her every day, I couldn't be more excited for this next chapter for her and her family, and I'm thankful we'll still have the opportunity to work together through the Foundation in the months ahead," said Lindsey Hefta, VP of marketing & communications.

We are incredibly grateful for Annie's dedication, professionalism, and commitment to both the Association and the Foundation. Her contributions have made an impact, and while she will certainly be missed in her full-time capacity, we are thankful that we will continue to benefit from her support of the Foundation during this transition.

Please join us in thanking Annie for all she has done for DakCU and wishing her continued success as she embarks on this exciting new chapter.

For assistance with The Memo, communications, member engagement initiatives, or other related matters, please contact VP of Marketing & Communications Lindsey Hefta.

Thank you, Annie, for your hard work, dedication, and the many ways you have served DakCU, the Foundation, and our member credit unions. We wish you nothing but the very best in the road ahead.

Annie leaves behind big shoes to fill, and DakCU has officially launched the search for its next Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator. If you know someone with a passion for writing, relationship-building, and supporting the credit union movement, we encourage you to share this opportunity.
