DakCU’s Board of Directors and Foundation Board hold in-person meetings during Summit to advance the credit union movement.
Always focused on advancing and enhancing the credit union movement, the Dakota Credit Union Association’s Board of Directors held an in-person meeting on Monday, May 12, 2025. Because most meetings are held virtually, this is a rare opportunity for board members to sit next to each other to conduct business that advances and supports the Dakota credit union movement.

Items on the Association Board’s agenda included an update with our new partner Plexcity. ND and SD Healthcare Trusts were discussed along with the work the Advocacy team and Foundation have done. A reorganization of officers was  completed also for the board of directors and the DakCU Service Corps. Lacey Fetsch will serve as Chair of DakCU and DakCUSC Director; Bob Herrington, 1st Vice Chair of DakCU and DakCUSC  Director; Joey Rotert, 2nd Vice Chair of DakCU and DakCUSC  Director; Jake Klobuchar, DakCUSC Chair and DakCU Director; Katie Bredvik, 1st Vice Chair of DakCUSC  and DakCU Director; Dawn Van Ash, 2nd Vice Chair of DakCUSC and DakCU Director; and Veronica Holweger, DakCU Board and DakCUSC Secretary/Treasurer.

Items on their order of business included a progress update on the Cash Stash Sweepstakes fundraiser; review of the financial reports; review of available grants and scholarships and voting on one; and reorganization of officers. April Tompkins serves as Chair; Jim Schaefbauer, Vice Chair; Tyler Gross, Secretary/Treasurer; Kylee Lemieux, Director; Lisa Snedeker, Director; Shannon Webster, Director; Dorothy Vorhees, Director; and Holly Steier, Director.
