Advocating for your credit union as a young professional is vital.  Your voice matters in promoting the advancement of pro credit union policies and bettering the credit union movement.  CUNA's Young Professional Advocacy Workshop on August 4-6 is the perfect opportunity for future leaders to learn about “all things credit union advocacy.”

Learn the importance of advocacy across the credit union spectrum and what role young professionals can play.  Capitol Hill staff members are among the speakers, and they will be talking about best practices for how to lobby, speak virtually and in person with lawmakers.  Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for advocating for credit unions and members nationwide.

We encourage serious young professionals to attend and develop skills needed for positions as future leaders in the industry by:

• Strengthening lobbying skills
• Developing legislative relationships
• Prepping for congressional meetings
• Working and coordinating with state Leagues
